While wandering down a historic street in London England I stopped and focused my attention through the windows of a little picturesque bakery.
Despite dust at home on some of them, I greatly admired the confections that sat long and neatly on display.
The smell was sweet as it rolled through the door, and I could imagine the joy that went into completing them.
In that moment I decided that I wanted to make cakes.
Not for a living, and not often.
I just wanted to make them every once in a while, and I wanted to make them beautifully.
In the last two years iv’e made less then I could count on both hands.
Not many, and not often.
However given a few free hours, and a special occasion I will make a cake.
